This roster contains the names of the California members of the 194th Tank Battalion who went to the Philippine Islands in September of 1941. They make up the men of the194th Tank Battalion, Company C, which originated as the 40th Divisional Tank Company of the California National Guard from Salinas, California. It should be noted that since there was no way to confirm which California members of the 194th Tank Battalion were assigned to HQ Company, and which soldiers were assigned to C Company, any soldier listed as being from California was put in C Company. The only exceptions are the names of soldiers where available information indicates otherwise.
